Robert Gahagan Pugh, III

Robert Gahagan Pugh, III Robert Gahagan Pugh, III, concentrates the majority of his practice on medicolegal matters, all aspects of employment law, corporate law and litigation, health-care regulatory matters, general civil litigation and estate planning. He has practiced in various federal and state courts in Louisiana.

Gahagan was born in Shreveport, LA where he attended Loyola College Prep. He subsequently graduated from Louisiana State University in 2011, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business administration. He then graduated from law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2015, where he was published in the Arkansas Real Estate Law Review and was a senator in the Student Government Association. While in law school, Gahagan served as an extern for the Honorable Justice Robin Wynne of the Arkansas Supreme Court, and he clerked for a large civil litigation and transactional law firm in Little Rock. After graduating from law school, Gahagan passed the Louisiana state bar exam and joined the family law firm in August of 2015.

Gahagan is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Shreveport Bar Association. Gahagan has served as the President, Vice-President and Treasurer of the Young Lawyers Section of the Shreveport Bar Association. He is an associate with the Harry V. Booth and Judge Henry A. Politz American Inn of Court. Gahagan is a graduate of the 2017 LANO Community Leaders Program. He serves on numerous boards of charitable organizations including The Salvation Army of Northwest Louisiana, Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana, Inc., and the Ark-La-Tex Ambassadors. He is also an Eagle Scout.
